Dragon Age: Inquisition Gameplay Trailer and Release Date Announcement

Yes, I know that the headline for this news story is exceptionally long but there was too much awesome Dragon Age news to contain a pedestrian news heading. If anyone has ever listened to the Free for All podcast, you’ll know that I am a huge fan of RPGs and in particular action RPGs. Dragon Age, an epic role playing game from industry stalwarts Bioware, managed to balance action and traditional RPG elements with a compelling story. Dragon Age: Origins was the first foray into the medieval fantasy realm and it was both critically acclaimed and a huge seller for EA. Dragon Age II took some of the steam out of what made the original such a fan favorite but it looks like DA is going back to its roots with Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Little has been shown on DA: I up until this point, but today was a new dawn as EA and Bioware released an all new gameplay trailer (which can be found below) as well as an official release date: October 7th. This is much earlier than even I had anticipated but it is a welcome site to see the beginnings of an all new RPG epic that builds on the foundations of what made Dragon Age so special. Not to mention that this is the first single player RPG on the next generation of consoles…and it looks gorgeous! Well, don’t take my obviously skewed opinion but check out the trailer below and see for yourself. Also, make sure to leave some comments below and let us know if you’re as excited about Dragon Age: Inquisition as I am!
