E3 2014 – ID@Xbox Games Detailed

At last year’s E3, Sony let the world know that they are committed to bringing the best indie games experience to their consoles. Microsoft had little to no showing, however, and had quite a bit of catching up to do. Earlier this year, they announced their ID@Xbox initiative and at this year they pulled out all of the stops at E3. Check out these killer games that are coming soon from Microsoft’s ID@Xbox:

Knight Squad

Plague Inc, Evolved

White Knight

Hyper Light Drifter

Lifeless Planet

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Mighty No. 9

These weren’t all of the amazing titles announced during the ID@Xbox presentation. Games such as Slash Dash, Forged, Spectra, Divekick, Slashdash, Another World, Guacamelee!, Calibre 10 Racing, Pure Pool 8, Habitat, Roundabout, The Golf Club, Siegecraft, Riptide GP 2 and Chariot. I was very impressed with Woolfe, There Came an Echo and Wulver Blade and Q.U.B.E seemed like a very unique puzzle game. Microsoft officially put Sony, and the gaming world, on notice in saying that indie games are definitely a part of their future and this lineup of games are all very impressive indeed. Look for more information in the days to come, but for now check out this killer sizzle reel!
