The Ant-Man movie has been a source of much controversy within the film geek culture. Ever since the departure of fan favorite director Edgar Wright, many people have expressed their concern over what has potential to be Marvel’s first flop. Bearing the Marvel name comes with incredibly high standards, and with the departure of Wright many people are assuming that the movie will have problems. One of which the beginning date of production. The movie was originally scheduled to begin filming this summer, but had to be pushed back while Marvel looked for a new director.
Marvel has finally begun production this week, and they’ve wasted no time attempting to quell the fears of the masses by releasing the first official photo of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang.
Some unofficial photos have made their way onto the internet too, such as these from the San Fransisco set.
And Evangeline Lilly, who is set to play Hope Van Dyne, has posted a few images of a new haircut which lead many to believe she might be taking up her mother’s mantle as The Wasp.
