Mortal Kombat X, Forza Horizon 2, and Homefront: The Revolution Announced!

Finish him.

Finish him.

Mortal Kombat X (that mean 10 for all of you non-Roman numeral folk out there…read a book!) is the follow up to the ultra-popular and critically praised Mortal Kombat.  Set to debut in 2015, MKX will be playable on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and PS4.  Look for more information during next weeks E3 extravaganza so keep it locked here for some killer news and mass amounts of editorializing!

Forza Horizon was a bit of a departure from the typical simulation racing that Forza Motorsports typically brings.  Fast and fun, Horizon focuses on more of an arcade racing experience and sold very well for the Xbox 360.  FH2 will be coming this fall to an Xbox One (Playground Games) and Xbox 360 (Sumo Digital) this fall.  A brand new weather system, which is a first for any Forza game, as well as the return of the “Drivatar” system will headline FH2…along with the standout graphics of Forza 5.  Look for more information next week during our E3 coverage.

The original Homefront, from now defunct THQ, was a highly anticipated game.  Under-performing sales aside, Homefront found a cult following and dedicated fanbase that was very disappointed that the game probably wouldn’t see a sequel any time soon due to it’s creator biting the dust.  Well, true believers, doubt no more!  Homefront: The Revolution will be coming to a console near you before you know it.  Set in the city of Philadelphia, the game will be developed by Crytek and will push all the graphical boundaries it can.  The game will utilize an open world, guerrilla warfare style of combat as you try and take back another piece of America.  Look for The Revolution to be televised in late 2014/early 2015.

Well, there ya have it: a virtual crap-ton of new hotness to appetize your gaming needs.  Look for more info on these games and many more next week as the FFA cast and crew give an all out E3 blitzkrieg!  See you then!
