New Walking Dead Game Coming Soon

This just in: Zombies are hot right now! Duh, right? Well, as long as people craze blasting away the shuffling hordes of reanimated corpses, gaming companies will continue to crank out the games. The Walking Dead franchise has capitalized on this trend perhaps better than anyone else up to this point. Tell Tale has the nearly immaculate version of The Walking Dead that has critics and fans craving even more pulse pounding episodes. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct didn’t get any love from the critics, but people are still buying that game up even a year after its release. The show still has killer ratings every week that it’s on and the graphic novels fly off of the shelf as soon as they release. What’s next? How about another game?!? Well, in 2016 you’ll get your wish…

Overkill, makers of the excellent Payday 2, will be bringing a new Walking Dead adventure to home consoles in 2016. Not much has been revealed abut what sort of game this will be, but we do already have a pretty tense trailer. There’s high hopes for this title, especially from The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman…

I’m a huge fan of what Overkill and Starbreeze have been able to do with PayDay 2It’s just an amazing co-operative game and I’m excited to be able to announce that Skybound is partnering with Overkill to make a Walking Dead game. I’m happy to say that it’s the co-op game that all of the Walking Dead fans have been waiting for.

Check out the teaser trailer below and let us know what you think.
