It’s a little bit later than usual, but Sony has finally given fans a look at what they will be playing in October, by releasing the titles that will be added to their Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection for the following 31 days. Still available until October 8, when the changeover will take place, are Sportsfriends and the fantastic Velocity 2X (go get this game immediately before it’s gone!) for the Playstation 4 as well as Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale on the PS3. Get these before the offer changes, and those freebies will be gone forever!
Replacing them, as previously noted by Sony, is the meatier-than-a-demo trial version of their long-gestating DriveClub. The simulation racer that looks to replace the missing Gran Turismo on Playstation 4 comes with 11 tracks and 10 cars for fans to try and comes out the same day as the full retail edition. Beyond DriveClub also comes the new duo of indie games that Sony has given us for the past 11 months, this time it’s the PS4 version of Dust: An Elysian Tail and Spelunky, both of which were well received on last generation hardware over the past two years.
Over on the PS3, fans gets the amazing Batman: Arkham Asylum and Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, and Vita players will be playing Pix the Cat and Rainbow Moon, for those with a hardcore JRPG fix that needs to be fulfilled.
All of these titles will be released on October 8, be sure to grab them on their respective consoles, even if you don’t download them right away, free is free, right?
