The Order: 1886 Gameplay Trailer

If you’re anything like us here at Free for All, you’re very, VERY excited about the Playstation 4 exclusive title The Order: 1886. Sony released the first gameplay trailer this week and…well, it’s damn good lookin’!

The CG looks great...what? That's the in-game engine?!? Holy mother!

If you check out the gameplay below, the game looks very reminiscent of Microsoft’s Gears of War series. Cover looks to be very important while gunning at the ragtag group of rebels in the trailer. Unfortunately, there were none of the really cool, original looking weapons used on these nameless bums, but the action was fairly tense. I also wish that the monsters were shown or even hinted at, but I’m sure that there will be more on that later. You did, however, get to see a cool choice driven semi “quick time” event. It appears that morality plays a part in these quick game sequences, but time will tell.

I will say this: This is the best looking game I have ever seen. By far. That¬† is not hyperbole, it’s 100% true. I will say that some of the action (especially the cover gunplay) look less crisp than the others. That being said, however, stacked up against the rest of the absolutely gorgeous game, it still would blow anything else on the market out of the water. Mix that with the fact that we are still several months away from this game releasing…let’s just say that I have very high hopes.

So, here is the trailer. After you pick your collective mouths off of the floor, let us know what you think in the comments below!
