A few weeks ago history was made when the cast of the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII was announced. Big up-and-comers such as Oscar Isaac and Domnhall Gleeson, actors who have yet to make a name for themselves such as Daisy Ridley and John Begoya, and well established actors such as Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow are joining the cast of the original movies for another trilogy set in a galaxy far, far away.
When the initial casting announcement was revealed there was much excitement here at the Free For All offices, but multiple sources had reported that there were still a few more female lead parts that had yet to be cast. Turns out those rumors were true, and two new actors joined the already buzz-worthy cast.
Oscar winner from the film 12 Years A Slave Lupita Nyong’o and Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie have been announced as the choices to fill those two lead female roles.
We still don’t have any information on what sorts of characters these newcomers will be playing, but our excitement level is at an all time high to see such great actors joining the cast.
