Obsidian-developed RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth has had a long and arduous path to store shelves. Originally set to be published by THQ, the title changed hands when the publisher went under in early 2013 to Ubisoft. Since that time, South Park has been set for release and delayed multiple times, most recently slipping from winter 2013 until early 2014.
Now it finally seems that the turn-based RPG that has been co-written and worked on closely by series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker is finally ready to be released. Set for a March 4 release, the game has gone gold, being sent to manufacturers before heading to store shelves. We’ll have a review of Stick of Truth in March when it is released for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
