The Trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah Is Here

With so much hype around the 2015 movie lineup, many people are overlooking just how great 2014 is going to be. One of the ones I’m looking forward to the most is Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. Today Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for the film and I couldn’t be more excited. Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Wrestler) wrote and directed the film, while Russel Crowe will star as Noah, with Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, and Anthony Hopkins all co-staring. The film, of course, follows the biblical story of Noah and how is was chosen by God to build an ark and survive an apocalyptic flood that destroyed the rest of the Earth. This story was perfect for a movie. Of course Aronofsky has added drama in and several supernatural elements/divine interventions to the story to help it translate to a better movie. Think of it as a biblical biopic/disaster movie. The movie will undoubtedly be a visual spectacle and. if Aronofsky’s track record holds true, will really leave you thinking when the movie is done. Look for Noah to hit theaters March 28, 2014.
