Ultron Actor is Chosen

Ultron

Ultron

Marvel has chosen who will play Ultron in the 2015 Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron. And that actor is James Spader! I love this choice as Spader has one of the most distinct voices in Hollywood and I think he will do an amazing job. Spader is an Emmy winning actor who is known for his roles in Boston Legal, The Practice, and the Stargate movie. No word yet on how Marvel will be portraying the character, but my guess is that Spader will being doing voice acting and motion capture work.  The movie is scheduled to start filming in March 2014 and will hit theaters May 1, 2015. You can catch Spader on his new TV show, The Blacklist, on NBC this fall starting Monday September 23 at 10:00 EST.
